I spent fourteen days and countless hours working on what would be a one-time, singular experience. Curating a selection of exceptional Japanese greens and other teas, this project has become an offering of something more beneficial than taking a course or listening to endless YT vids and podcasts. This wasn't about visiting random teahouses only to be disappointed, nor was it about overpaying for lackluster leaves. I've leveraged my time, resources in Japan, traveled back and forth, and used my Japanese language skills to curate this unique group buy. A venture so singular that I doubt it will be repeated.

Yes, some of these teas are priced higher than those at next-door tea shops. We recognize these are by no means cheap. With thorough market price analysis help from Thomas (@banana.ware), we've made sure our prices are competitive and fair.

I feel it's important to offer these teas not only to point out where the ceiling might be (or close to it), but in the hope that a broader audience (and newcomers) enjoying a premium experience occasionally will, in turn, enhance their appreciation of the outstanding value and quality of the more 'everyday' teas.

We will schedule our next tea gathering in Jakarta after this project is wrapped up, all packed up, and everything is ready to be picked up or sent.
